Besides that even mormons put a christmas tree up during the holidays, trunk or treat parties in the church parking lot during halloween, and things like that(paganistic by the way). bad?, pray about it between you and God. Just like everything else mormon, pick and chose what you want to bring to attention and what you don't. this article does not deny facts or truths. So just like Connie, and most importantly the Bible, says the mormon religion fails.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7835470178810727815.post-21306766428417932102012-06-10T22:31:38.851-06:002012-06-10T22:31:38.851-06:00There will always be apostasy, just not a complete...There will always be apostasy, just not a complete apostasy like the LDS Church declares. Obviously if the early Church Fathers documented it, they themselves weren't apostates.Angienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7835470178810727815.post-50518031345002382462012-05-10T12:21:25.566-06:002012-05-10T12:21:25.566-06:00One thing Connie ignores is historical fact and re...One thing Connie ignores is historical fact and reality. Will Durrant - Caesar and Christ records how Early Christianity (after the First Century) did not end paganistic beliefs, but adopted those paganistic beliefs. Will Durrant is an Historian. She also ignores Biblical Facts and truths to present her false and illogical arguments to support her position. Was there an Apostasy? Yes, and there is historical evidence that the Apostasy occurred prior to the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. How so? Because it is documented by Josephus and Tacitus, as well as the Early Church Fathers.

What is the conclusion? Connie's article here epically fails to present truth and historical facts.Timothy R. Monson.....etc) will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men will rise up (First Presidency/Quorum of the Twelve/The Seventy.....etc), speaking perverse things (The Father, from the planet Kolob was an actual man who had physical relations with Mary.....the Father, Son and Holy Ghost are three separate beings.....the cross is an offense.....polygamy.....just to name a few), to draw away the disciples after themselves.”
*Let no one deceive you by any means-Well, no one that is except the Mormon Church.....and they will make sure their members stay deceived by telling their members that anything printed, or said, outside of the Official Representatives of the Church (General Authorities/Apostles) isn't what is taught or believed, so it can't be trusted. This is even true of their own members who speak about their beliefs…..
*some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons.....Unfortunately this is what Joseph has done.....it is sad because the Mormon people don't know the Word of God.....they have been told that it is corrupt and it can't be trusted.
I would love to hear from a Mormon, as to why they can't trust God Almighty to protect His Word, (as shown through Scripture references above) yet, they will eagerly put their trust, faith and salvation in a man.
The real question is would/does God lie......or would/does Joseph Smith lie?
LDS, please STUDY the Bible.....use a different translation, one that is easier to understand, and isn't cross-referenced to LDS Scripture (Book of Mormon, The D&C, Pearl of Great Price) Let Biblical Scripture-the actual infallible Word of God build upon itself, and you will find the truth for yourself. And in finding that truth, you will be set free.
><>God BlessLindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10624637669328682427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7835470178810727815.post-33793454679995437732012-04-24T21:10:01.383-06:002012-04-24T21:10:01.383-06:00Sarah - I never know which topic will come up in t...Sarah - I never know which topic will come up in the Ensign from month to month. But I'm also comparing two new LDS books to the bible - "LDS Beliefs" and "Teachings of Thomas S. Monson". Those are both alphabetical, so "pre-existence" would normally be down the road a ways. However, I don't see any reason to stay in that order - I can put in next in the list - look for it soon!~Connie~https://www.blogger.com/profile/07321150119488585619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7835470178810727815.post-51404348123157382352012-04-22T10:04:22.343-06:002012-04-22T10:04:22.343-06:00Hey -- love reading your blog and I look forward t...Hey -- love reading your blog and I look forward to your new posts every month.
